Welcome!

 

Puddle Pond Creations was established in 2020 when two passionate ladies met in a school setting and something exciting started to happen. Ms. Stella was teaching kindergarten and Mrs. B. was her Instructional Assistant.

 

It all began with some creative decor. Billboards were designed for the hallway! Signs were created for the classroom! Creating excitement for the students was the goal.

 

The plan was working! There was no stopping it! Decorating ideas transitioned into lessons and worksheets. Ms. Stella's enthusiastic teaching style and Mrs. B.'s illustrations were the beginning of something special. The kiddos loved the creative messages and were excited about learning.

 

It soon became time to share what was working. Luckily, there is a great resource for teachers to share with other teachers and parents. A Puddle Pond Creations storefront was generated on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. There are currently about 26 products, free or with a minimal cost, as electronic downloads.

 

Is it stopping there? NOPE! The team has now moved into another passion, children's books. We've used so many books for teaching or enjoyment in the classroom. We want to create a series with social and academic stories as their foundation. Book one is written, illustrated, and published on Amazon.com.

 

Jillinda (Ms. Stella) has been teaching for 20 years in the public school setting. She spent two years teaching preschool before she decided to go back to school to get her Teaching License and Master in Education! She spent 5 years in Marketing and Advertising before she realized the passion she had for teaching little humans. She loves to be creative as she teaches the curriculum.

 

 

 

 

Pam (Mrs. B.) is a graphic designer and illustrator who has worked in many sectors of the industry. She began work as a freelance graphic designer in 2011. Pam is "married to education" with a husband who was a teacher, principal and superintendent of schools. She recently decided to join the education field by working with students as an Instructional Assistant. The kiddos are inspiring. Each child is unique and comes to school with stories to tell that contribute to my creative nature.

 

Puddle Pond Creations is a storefront at Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). Ms. Stella and Mrs. B. strive to provide a wonderful learning experience for primary students! We leap into learning year after year with new students and new lessons. We are passionate about developing classroom resources that are creative and help to enhance learning.

 

As you may have guessed...Mrs. B flew into Ms. Stella's pond and Puddle Pond Creations was formed. It was only the beginning of our story.

 

The book series will have social and academic stories as their foundation. Whether the books are used in the classroom or at home, there is always room for a creative lesson.

 

Birdie the Bee and Fritz the Frog are the stars! The first book is about overcoming adversity, gaining confidence and making friends. The second book takes our Puddle Pond friends to elementary school. The lessons we hope to share are numerous.
